Gabriel Jesus aims to see out Arsenal contract

Gabriel Jesus has pledged his future to Arsenal, confirming he plans to remain at the club until his contract ends in June 2027.

The Brazilian striker, recovering from knee surgery after an ACL injury in January, is close to returning to action. Despite ongoing speculation about a potential exit in the next transfer window—especially with new signings Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyökeres leading the attack—Jesus dismissed the rumors.

Speaking to Placar (via ESPN Brasil), he stated: “Every day, the coach and the board say they’re eager for my return. I don’t see myself outside the club’s plans. I have a contract until 2027, and if it’s not renewed by then, I’ll be at the club at least until 2027.”

Jesus’s comments underline his commitment and importance to Arsenal’s long-term plans, offering reassurance to fans and management as the team awaits his comeback to strengthen their forward options.

The 28-year-old also revealed his desire to return to boyhood club Palmeiras one day – but not yet.
