Arsenal have recently been credited with interest in Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but according to Fabrizio Romano, the Champions League holders see the Georgian winger as a crucial part of their team and have no intention of selling him under any circumstances.
Arsenal are expected to make some changes to their attacking department this summer, in terms of both outgoing and incoming deals, but it seems Kvaratskhelia will remain in the French capital.
Undoubtedly a top-class player, the 25-year-old winger played a crucial role in PSG’s rise to Champions League glory last season, and this term, he has 18 goal contributions (11 goals, seven assists) in 35 matches across all competitions. He came off the bench to score twice in his team’s 5-2 triumph in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Chelsea last week.
Kvaratskhelia’s contract with PSG runs for three more years beyond this summer, which puts the club in a very strong position to reject any approach for his services.
