Roma and Juventus join Marcos Senesi race

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma and Juventus have put their names on the list of clubs interested in signing Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth this summer.

Senesi’s contract with the Cherries runs out at the end of the season, which means his services would be up for grabs on a free transfer, and that’s something that is understandably attracting the attention of every major club in need of a centre-back, along with his excellent performances in the Premier League.

Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur would all like to persuade him to stay in England, while Atletico Madrid aim to lure him to Spain, but it’s been reported that the 28-year-old sees Barcelona as his preferred destination at this point. It remains to be seen if Turin and Rome being in the mix as well makes any difference to his wishes or plans.

Senesi has made 28 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions this season, with four assists to his name.
