Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has frequently named Liverpool as his greatest challenge, and Mohamed Salah was surely one of the main reasons for that. The Egyptian winger has so far had 21 goal involvements (13 goals, eight assists) in 25 matches against Guardiola’s team in all competitions.
With Salah leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, Guardiola will have the task of finding a way to deal with Salah one last time this afternoon (Saturday), when City face the Reds in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Speaking to the press ahead of the clash, the City boss felt obliged to give credit where it’s due.
