There was plenty of excitement in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal blockbuster between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Bayern had won the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu by 2-1, and it all kicked off straight away as Arda Guler struck for Real in the first minute. Aleksandar Pavlovic equalized only five minutes later, but Guler’s second restored Real’s lead on the night and parity overall in the 29th. Another nine minutes later, Harry Kane made it 2-2, but Real still went to the break ahead as Kylian Mbappe scored in the 42nd.
But after a most unwise action from Eduardo Camavinga earned the Real midfielder his second yellow card five minutes from time, Luis Diaz fired Bayern level in the 89th. And as Real went all out in search of another goal that would’ve brought on extra 30 minutes, Michael Olise punished them with this fantastic strike, and Bayern completed a double over the 15-time European champions.
