Sweden have booked a place at the 2026 World Cup in North America, having beaten Denmark in the final of the qualifications playoffs.
As the match approached it’s end, the score stood at 2-2, until Viktor Gyokeres slammed home from close range after a frantic scramble in Denmark’s box.
This winner was the crown of what was a glorious showing in these playoffs for the Arsenal striker, who bagged a hat-trick in the semifinal clash with Ukraine.
